Upon entering, we were treated like British royalty, although we only wish that William and Harry were there to enjoy it with us. Offering a choice of luxurious spa experiences ranging from facials to Kur rituals (adapted from a traditional European spa technique that combines several treatments into one using natural resources, minerals and nutrients), we chose the Classic Massage. We felt instantly relaxed from the moment we hit the massage table. Much like a Swedish massage, our treatment was the perfect combination of tension relief and muscle stimulation using aromatic essential oils.

Following treatment, spa-goers have their choice of a variety of invigorating thermal experiences including an infrared sauna, caldarium, hydrotherapy pool, aromatherapy steam room, Hammam steam room and multiple experience showers. Our pick, though, would have to be the rooftop infinity plunge pool. Overlooking the facility’s breathtaking grounds, the heated outdoor pool has the feel of a hot spring. Even on the chilliest of winter days, the water’s soothing warmth keeps you toasty while taking in the snow-capped mountain view. Before you leave, grab a bite at the Carrick Spa Cafe where they have a variety of deliciously wholesome sweet and savory treats and light bites, the ideal way to round out a perfectly relaxing day.
